American Building Inspectors (ABI) provides professional property inspections throughout South Florida. Owner and Florida licensed home inspector Eric Angerstein brings a background built around safety, attention to detail and sound decision-making: he is a U.S. Navy veteran, a former firefighter and a former operating room nurse.

ABI inspects single and multi-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, luxury and waterfront homes, and commercial properties across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade Counties. Alongside full home and commercial inspections, ABI performs Florida 4-point and wind mitigation inspections, pool and spa, new construction, 11-month warranty and pre-listing inspections, and coordinates WDO/termite, sewer line, roofing and seawall inspections.

The goal is simple: a thorough inspection, a clear explanation of significant findings, and a professional, easy-to-understand report you can use with confidence.
