Insurance Inspections
An insurance inspection of a home's four major systems (roof, electrical, plumbing and heating/air conditioning), often requested by Florida insurers for older homes.
Roof: covering type, age, condition and visible leaks or damage. Electrical: panel type, wiring, capacity and visible hazards. Plumbing: supply and drain materials, the water heater, and visible leaks. Heating and air conditioning: system type, age and operating condition.
Insurers set their own rules, but a 4-point inspection is commonly required to write or renew a policy on an older home. Check with your agent about what your insurer needs.
We document each system with photos on the form insurers expect, so you can get your policy moving.
